MLP Art Dump 5

Howdy peeps. Time for the semi-annual dump of pony art.

1-4) Stuff from my askblog: chaostheoryandcookies.tumblr.c… . It's an ask blog/instructed story blog focusing on Pandora, the curious, unexpected daughter of Twilight and Discord a few years after the events in the show. Shown are the profiles of Future!Princess Twilight and Spike, Pandora answering a user, and the blog icon.

5.) Now we move into stuff I didn't finish, for one reason or another. I'm not sure if I ship Cheese Sandwich and Maud Pie, or if I'm just really curious as to what would happen if they met. It'd be like an unstoppable force meeting an immovable object. Here he's glued googly eyes onto her pet rock Boulder in an attempt to make her SMILE SMILE SMILE. I like to imagine he'd see her as a personal challenge and just follow her around all day trying (and failing hilariously) to make her smile.

6.) More art for my Pandora askblog. In the future, Twilight is the Dean of the Canterlot Academy of Magic, and one of her co-workers is Professor Chaos Theory*coughcoughDiscordinponyform* who just loves to grate on her nerves with inane research proposals, nonsensical theories, and shameless, shameless flirting. To Twilight's annoyance, Chaos Theory is inexplicably one of the Academy's most popular professors.

7.) An old, kinda crummy drawing of Twilight (it's almost like she's my favorite character or something). Trying out armor designs

8.) Oof. I work on this painting occasionally, but I think I've ultimately given up on it. It depicts some alternate Equestrian history-the brutal assassination of Princess Celestia by the mad queen Nightmare Moon. I've always envisioned something very different from the battles we see in MLP. I've always thought a fight between the alicorns would be downright vicious, with savage kicking and trampling with their hooves, trying to gore one another with their horns, and burning each other with blasts of magic and lightning.

9.) Color practice with Luna. I seem to have a habit of forgetting to draw her tail

10.) Old concept art. Twilight looked into Sombra's fear door too long and her sanity has been burned away

11.) Chrysalis giving Shining Armor a little love bite. Ahahaha jk she's eating him
