Personality/Background:
Chakra Blossom is very good at playing the part of a peaceful, easygoing hippie. He talks a lot about enlightenment, inner peace, free love, and respect for all ponies. It's all talk, Chakra doesn't personally believe any of his own philosophy, but enjoys spouting it to push ponies into finding him worldly, enlightened, and full of all the answers. This makes it a lot easier to manipulate them into doing what he wants them to do, which is commonly to relax their guard while he mooches off of them.

Chakra speaks in the same dreamy voice and hippie slang as his mother Treehugger, but it's just an act. He is much more intelligent than he lets on. The hippie lifestyle is just a means for Chakra to do whatever he wants, while posing as being oh-so-spiritual and worldly and kind. His special talent is using music as therapy for others (borrowing from his mom’s “healing sonic bliss”), and this comforting element seeps into his personality as well. He is quite charismatic, free-spirited, flirty, and nice enough, and ponies tend to find themselves unconsciously relaxing around him. He is also self-centered, vain, manipulative, and possibly sociopathic, but you’d never know that. Just look at that nice smile. It's just so disarming charming. 
   
   
Relationships:
   Treehugger and Zephyr Breeze never married, and Chakra was entirely unplanned. Treehugger birthed him naturally out in a flower field, and kinda just showed up on Zeph's doorstop like "hey lookit this foal I made lol". Because of the on again/off again nature of Treehugger and Zephyr's relationship, Chakra mostly lived with his mom growing up, with weekend visits from dad sometimes.
    The two of them were...pretty bad parents, with Treehugger being loving but wildly irresponsible (sometimes leaving kid Chakra home alone to go on various hippie retreats) and Zeph often feeling like parenting was "cramping his style". So Chakra was often neglected, and grew up to resent both his parents. As an adult he simply avoids Zephyr Breeze (Zeph is a little hurt by this but tries not to show it), while Treehugger...Chakra finds his mother incredibly annoying, with her constant, stupid hippie talk that she genuinely believes in. He can only tolerate her in small doses before the cracks begin to show in his "peaceful, unbothered hippie" facade, and he has to work very hard to control his temper and keep smiling while she coos over her sweet little "Blossom".
   
    Chakra has a bit of a rivalry with his younger cousin Rosemary, who, unlike Chakra, is genuinely knowledgeable about aura, empathy, vibes, etc and can see straight through him. He's learned over time that her intellect, perception, and physical strength are not to be underestimated. For this reason, he's always excessively, superficially sweet to her (annoying Rosie to no end). His nickname for her is "Babyfat" which sounds cute but is a reference to Rosie's chubby foalhood days, something she's still sensitive about.

    Fluttershy kept a discrete eye on her nephew Chakra as he grew up, often caring for him and feeding him when his parents weren't around to do it. For this reason, he genuinely does love and respect his Auntie Shy, and she is pretty much the only pony he feels comfortable being honest and vulnerable with. He may or may not be bitterly jealous that Rosemary had such a better mother than him

    Chakra is a prominent ex-boyfriend of Aerostorm. They dated in their youth, and Stormy was completely head over heels for him, to the point where he was in denial about Chakra's true nature. Chakra saw Stormy as a very amusing toy, pushing Stormy more and more...until one day, he simply pushed too far, and Stormy furiously, tearfully broke things off. Rosemary was enraged to physical violence at how Chakra had treated her best friend, and needed to be restrained from throttling him by her father Bulk Biceps.
    Chakra wasn't bothered by the break up at the time, but has found himself thinking more and more about Stormy as days go by. Although he treated their relationship like a game, he's yet to realize that ultimately, he lost, because he was in love with Stormy and didn't even know it.
    

Special:
-Chakra is an excellent singer and can play several instruments. He can use music as a way of literally channeling and redirecting aura and emotion to assist other ponies in working through their negative emotions and pain. But like his father, he doesn't have much faith in his own abilities and is content to be lazy.

-He used to be a very sweet kid, and often excitedly foalsat baby Rosemary. He would also help out Aunt Fluttershy around the house because he felt guilty about eating so much of her cooking, and being the recipient of so many Flutterhugs. Pictured as a kid here:
-Chakra is a good flier and travels a lot, because flying around and bumming off ponies is much easier than stopping to contemplate the state of his life and whether he is even happy and content with himself and his decisions. Deep down, Chakra feels a profound sense of loneliness and cynicism about the world around him (possibly why he was drawn to Stormy, whose outlook is so bright and friendly).

-Sometimes, when feeling particularly annoyed, Chakra addresses his parents by their names, rather than "mom" or "dad". Again, Zephyr Breeze is hurt by this, while Treehugger is usually too out of it to care much.
