i get asked a lot what flash sentry is up to in my pandoraverse
the answer is 'not much'
working dutifully as a crystal empire royal guard, practicing the guitar (he uses his wings to strum), being a dork, and of course, protecting what's important

in this case, his doofy lil "sunshine" right thar

sunburst was assigned flash as a body guard when he went off traveling to do some magical studies and perform ambassador work for princess cadence

well sunburst developed a huge ass goofball crush on the guy within about five seconds of meeting him
there was a lot of stuttering and fumbling and dropping stuff when flash was around

flash found it endearing, finally somepony more of a klutz than he himself
they became fast friends, and eventually got together mostly due to princess cadence's nosy meddling gentle encouragement

they currently live in the crystal empire together
