Noct was so head over hooves for Willow he could barely function, whatta goober

it's late, so in lieu of a real description have some quick fun facts

-Willow was a medic for the Lunar Guard. It was she who cleaned up Noct's trash-heap of a socket after an enemy griffin clawed out his eye. Upon waking up in the hospital bed, Nocturnus thought the beautiful Doctor Willow was an angel (she assures him that was merely morphine-induced delirium), and the guy did spend some badly flirting with her (goddamn was it hard to wink with just one eye). The two did eventually click over their mutual dry, snarky senses of humor, becoming friends, and later, via Noct's sheer pestering charm, more.

-Willow is the older sister of Umbra, and has been ridiculously overprotective of her baby brother since the two were orphaned at a young age (a tragic event that left Willow with a chronic compulsion to care for others, even at the expense of herself). Umbra is shown here:

-Noct's nickname for her was "Doc", or "Will". Willow insisted they address each other formally while on-duty in the Lunar Guard, but always called him "Noctie" in private, and later, when they became parents, they started fondly calling each other "Mamabat" and "Daddybat". 

-Nocturnus is a lietenant in the Guard (eventually second-in-command to Artemis), and his specialty is stealth and vigilance. Even with just one eye, there was no creature in Equestria that could get the drop on deadly, hyper-vigilant Nocturnus....unless it was Willow with sneak attack smoochies (Noct genuinely can't hear her coming. Willow claims to have ninja hooves.)
