tumblr doodle, someone asked if any of my nextgen cast had had any embarassing crush stories from their youth

Stormy wasn’t quite out of his clumsy, awkward phase yet by his late teens (he took a while to fill out, so skinny body + long pretty hair often led to ponies mistaking him for a mare). He was also a lot more insecure and concerned with pleasing others than he is as an adult. It’s during this time that he met Rosemary’s cousin, Chakra Blossom (son of Zephyr Breeze and Treehugger), who was such a manipulative cool, laid-back slacker musician babe that Stormy got the biggest, dumbest crush ever.

It didn’t help that Chakra made daisy crowns for Stormy and wrote sweet guitar songs for his little “daydreamer”. Doofy young Stormy fell head over heels fast, even though Rosie warned him, again and again, that Chakra was trouble…

Fun facts about Chakra:

-He speaks in the same dreamy tone/hippie slang as his mother, Treehugger, but it's just an act. He is much smarter than he lets on, and he doesn't really believe in her "cosmic bliss" and "aura vibe" talk.

-His human form has a tramp stamp tattoo.

-He wears aviator glasses and burns a ton of incense to hide the fact that he's high like, all the time

-His special talent is using music as therapy for others, but he doesn't have confidence in his ability and is content to be lazy, like his father.

-His pet name for Stormy was "daydreamer", because Stormy "always has his head in the clouds." He still calls him this after they've broken up, and Stormy hates it, because he suspects it was Chakra's way of low key calling him stupid
