I'd love to see these two face off at full power. What is the cause of this battle of epics? I dunno. Seriously drawing a blank. Maybe it's all a neat act for Nightmare Night. Maybe Twilight left only the heels in the bread bag and has incurred the wrath of a peanut butter and jelly sammich starved goddess. Eh. I'm sure you guys can think of a better narrative.

ALSO this is a speed paint, and I drew influence(read:ripped off) that sort of bright vibrant colored craziness you see in anime-ish art sometimes. I was really feeling "pokemon" when i painted this and i think it shows. Composition is pretty cluttered and there's errors like always, but I like it a lot. Also, Nightmare Moon has the best evil laugh.
